Management Philosophy
Inaugurated in 1959 as a solitary Chinese restaurant, our company’s journey has unfolded over the course of more than half a century. Amidst this evolution, our unwavering commitment to the ethos of “delivering service that elicits smiles and connections” has remained steadfast since our inception.
Our enduring philosophy underscores that our customers’ joys resonate as our own. Their satisfaction is our source of gratification.
In addition, we hold a profound appreciation for our connection to the city. Aspired to be more than just a haven for guests from distant places, we aim to be a cherished establishment within the local community. Our ambition is clear – to be adored not only by those who travel from afar but also by the residents of the town. This sentiment consistently guides our actions.
The allure of our hotels and restaurants harmonizes intricately with the allure of the city. Recognizing the symbiotic relationship between the two, we acknowledge that an unattractive town won’t allure customers. Thus, we remain acutely aware that we play a role in shaping the city’s identity. With this responsibility in mind, we are steadfast in our commitment to providing unparalleled hospitality, ensuring a seamless integration of our establishments into the vibrant fabric of the city.

Our focus moving forward is the organic establishment of a distinctive brand, crafted with our own ingenuity. In lieu of relying on conventional manuals, we are committed to manifesting hotels and restaurants that reflect our unique vision. The rich history of Yokohama Chinese Town stands testament to its growth and development over time.
Rooted in the diligent efforts of our predecessors, we aspire to fortify two significant brands – the Chungking Restaurant brand, which has flourished through its historical journey, and the Rose Hotel Yokohama brand, buoyed by the foundational strength of these two pillars. Our unwavering aim is to firmly anchor these two brands in the hearts of our patrons.
At the forefront of our aspirations is the desire for our establishments to be more than mere venues; we aim to be sought-after destinations for our esteemed customers. Nothing would bring us more pride than to see individuals specifically traveling to Yokohama with the sole purpose of experiencing the culinary delights of Chungking Restaurant or indulging in the hospitality of Rose Hotel Yokohama.
Looking ahead, our ultimate ambition is to elevate Rose Hotel Yokohama into a global icon, resonating with the world and drawing patrons from every corner of the globe.
